In November 2011, the discovery of the racist murders committed by the right-wing extremist underground terrorist group NSU shocked the whole of Germany. Previously, the attacks had been disparagingly referred to as the "kebab murders" and negligently attributed to the Turkish milieu itself. Eight years after the suicides of the murderers Uwe Mundlos and Uwe Böhnhardt, Bademsoy's documentary film takes the perspective of three of the ten victim families concerned.
