On August 30, 1972, John Lennon played his only full concert after leaving the Beatles in New York City: the “One to One” benefit concert at Madison Square Garden – a rousing performance together with Yoko Ono. This musical event is the starting point for this documentary, which takes a look behind the scenes and at 18 formative months in the lives of John and Yoko after they moved from England to Manhattan's “Village,” where the couple sought their place in the counterculture of the early 1970s.

From humble beginnings in a Melbourne suburb, The Birthday Party grew into an internationally acclaimed post-punk band in the late 1970s, thanks to the voice of singer Nick Cave and the sound attacks of guitarist Rowland S. Howard. Mutiny In Heaven tells the story of the band in their own words.

Meanwhile, Yvonne is still after her dreams and finally gets the chance to audition for a big show.

Joan, no longer in love, leaves her partner Victor, the father of her daughter.
