Krawall
Jürg Hassler, Switzerland, 1970o
At the end of May 1968, hardly any inhabitant of otherwise bourgeois Switzerland expected the rampant consequences of a Jimi Hendrix concert. Young people began to refuse, to organize and band together, and to fight against a worldview enforced by their parents. Jürg Hassler paints the picture of the smoldering unrest in wide circles of Zurich youth that culminated in the Globus riots in June 1968.
