Les dépossédés

Everyday, the forces of advanced capitalism and agribusiness push farmers into bankruptcy. The people who feed the world themselves don’t have enough to eat. It is a mind-boggling paradox: three quarters of the earth’s malnourished are, themselves, food producers. The Dispossessed investigates this untenable state of affairs, casting a critical look at our economic system and at the special role of Switzerland as the seat of prominent agro-chemical corporations and the hub of the international food market.
