A summer night party, the nightcap after the class reunion. The former clique of friends of the grammar school meets again for the first time after twenty-five years. The present and the past mingles into the joy for the reunion. In the seemingly superficial chat old themes shimmer through and above the exuberant mood lies a dark shadow. The "thing" was one of the reasons for the sudden break-up of the group.
Regisseur Cihan Inan, zurzeit Schauspielchef am Berner Stadttheater, inszeniert in seinem ersten Film seit «180˚» ein melancholisch swingendes Kammerspiel, das gelegentlich zum allzu Gefühligen tendiert. Das himmeltraurige Ringen der Figuren, die versuchen, ihr Leben nicht komplett zu vermasseln, setzt Inan aber berückend ins Bild.
