They are almost a hundred years old, but the classic American slapstick comedies make even today's audiences of all ages laugh with ease. That's why the Silent Film Festival at Filmpodium Zurich offers a programme especially for families. The films are easy to understand even without reading skills: the children are happy about the mishaps that Laurel and Hardy, Charley Chase and Buster Keaton have to cope with with a lot of skill and luck; for the adults the witty intertitles offer an additional attraction.
