Murad is 22 and lives in Dharavi, a slum in Mumbai. In order to secure him an office job later, his poor Muslim family had to struggle to pay for college. The young man seeks comfort in marijuana, self-penned, angry hip-hop and his secret childhood friend, the doctor's daughter Safeena, who proudly wears her white hijab. When Murad accidentally meets a well-known rapper who encourages him to expand his hobby, a new world opens up for him.
