Romuald Blindet (Daniel Auteuil) is the CEO of the dairy factory Blanlait where the West Indian Juliette Bonaventure (Firmine Richard) works as a cleaning lady. To help her boss get out of a difficult situation – his wife is cheating on him and his staff is involved in a scam – Juliette welcomes Romuald into her subsidised apartment where she is raising her five children on her own and she helps him prove his innocence.
