Tom is 28 and, like his father, is in the real estate business. His methods are shady, his approach often brutal. By chance, one day he meets his mother's former concert agent again, who encourages him to take part in a piano audition. Absorbed, Tom prepares for the appointment with the help of a young Asian pianist.
