Leonel, age 9, and Antuán, age 13, live in a small village in the Cuban countryside and are preparing to spend their summer vacation in absolute freedom and on their own. Wandering around and playing, the two boys kill boredom as best as they can, confronting their worldviews and thoughts on the future. When the island starts writing a new page of its history, the two inseparable friends must also deal with a turning point in their young lives.
