In 2010 Unilever announced the closure of the Fralib tea preparation and packaging plant in the south of France. After 1336 days of resistance the workers took over the plant in 2014. This marked the beginning of a new struggle: How to organize? And can a cooperative be profitable in a highly competitive market? – The Berlin ethnologist and documentarist Laura Coppens, who is currently researching at the University of Bern, has accompanied the everyday production and the debates of the new company for two years, and from this she also derives fundamental questions about our relationship to work and the economy in a time in which the flip sides of neoliberalism and globalization stand like elephants in the global room. The film premiered at the documentary film festival Visions du réél and received two awards.
