For the first time in the fifty-year history of the World Economic Forum (WEF), an independent film team was able to shoot behind the closed doors of Davos, at the organization's Geneva headquarters and on the international stage. - While the now 81-year-old founder Klaus Schwab credibly demonstrates how he uses his phenomenal network to promote international dialogue and contribute to the solution of global problems, activists such as Greenpeace head Jennifer Morgan denounce the self-interests of the global elite, to whom the WEF serves as a platform for euphemisms. What is really revealing about this informative pro and contra look behind the scenes is the insight into the everyday work of the WEF machinery and the otherwise clandestine smaller meetings, where one can also experience live how goodwill diplomacy reaches its limits.
