The reserved chemist Barnaby Fulton experiments with a rejuvenating agent. In a self-experiment, he tastes a drink that he did not mix, but rather a test monkey that escaped from the cage. The effect is astounding. It turns the staid scientist into a swashbuckling youth. But the change does not go entirely unrecognized and - even less so - without consequences.
