A young teacher who is sent from the city to the school in Lunana sets off on the long journey through the crazy mountain world with little motivation. On site, he meets a community that views him with the utmost respect - only a teacher can touch "the future of the children," according to the common opinion there. Little by little, the teacher learns more about his profession than his education was able to teach him.
