At the mercy of the authorities in his village, Nikola takes on a 300 kilometer walk from southern Serbia to Belgrade. The father wants to lodge a complaint with the Ministry of Social Affairs and demand justice for himself and his children. After his wife attempted suicide, the father has been deprived of custody. Convinced that he will be wronged, he wants to defend himself against the system, but the arduous journey becomes a turning point.
