From one day to the next, Claire's life is turned upside down. The clinic where she has worked as a midwife for years closes; her only son tells her he is going to be a father and drops out of medical school. Then she falls in love with Paul, the humorous neighbor from the allotment garden colony. And as if all that were not enough, Béatrice bursts into her life. Béatrice is the former lover of her late father and exactly the opposite of the conscientious and reserved Claire. She is flamboyant, loud, self-centered and fun-loving: worlds collide.
