Johannes, a Kaspar Hauser-like man with the mind of a child, lives secluded in an alpine hut with his eagle and his devout mother. Everyday life within this hermetic world is determined by prayers and rituals. But between the worship of nature and the creator, modern foreign bodies and disturbing noises suddenly intrude: the tourist development of their paradise threatens to poison it and awaken the devil.
