Kamchatka, the wild region in Russia's Far East, is the realm of brown bears. In this documentary, the bears living there are accompanied during the course of the four seasons: A mother bear with her offspring, whom she cares for and protects so they can explore the world with their carefree youth. A cub that has just outgrown its nursery, which is now on its own and has to fight for its place. And finally, an adult male bear who must constantly prove his strength to defend his territory.
