Right at his first roulette game, conscientious bank employee Jean Fournier wins a small fortune. He decides to spend his annual vacation on the Côte d'Azur. At the casino in Nice, he meets the beautiful Jackie Demaistre, who has given up her marriage and child for her passion for gambling. Together they move from gaming table to gaming table, betting everything - winning and losing. Jean falls for Jackie and the game in equal measure.
