Leah is Jewish and studies, Maja is non-religious and acts as a fairy for children. They bump into each other in a library, mix up their dropped books, swap stories and kiss pretty quickly. Love at first sight! But suddenly Leah has the evil eye. Neither her amethyst nor her orthodox mother seem to help against it - and Maja has to fight for her love and Leah in the strange world of Kabbalah, Golem and Dybbuk.
