Shortly before Christmas, young bank clerk Norbert Lang inherits a run-down hotel in St. Moritz. It is already fully booked for the holidays, but there is no entertainment program for New Year's Eve, the staff takes off, and the heating is haunted. Then the plumber brings unexpected reinforcements. One of the first Swiss film musicals: the successful German post-war director Kurt Hoffmann (Wir Wunderkinder, Drei Männer im Schnee) took on the direction, Caterina Valente the female lead.
