In the windy village of “Paradise,” a small patchwork family defies the challenges of everyday life. The father lives off odd jobs, while his recently divorced sister dreams of opening her own tailor shop. When little Cigaale stands in front of the closed school one day, the two become inventive in order to give him a good education. No easy feat in unstable Somalia, but the family bonds grow stronger.
