Le Petit Nicolas – Qu’est-ce qu’on attend pour être heureux ?
Benjamin Massoubre, Amandine Fredon, 2022 c7.1

Bent over a large white sheet of paper, illustrator Jean-Jacques Sempé and author René Goscinny bring to life a mischievous little boy in 1950s Paris who, as a comic book character, will win millions of fans big and small for decades to come: Le Petit Nicolas. Between camaraderie, quarrels, games and silliness with his friends, his loving but moderately understanding parents and a favourite girl (among all those frowned upon), Nicolas experiences a childhood full of ups and downs. In the process, he also becomes a life companion to his two creators.
