Chief physician Moesgaard is close to a nervous breakdown and hands over the administrative management of the hospital to Helmer. This one makes a mockery of the morning reports and decides to turn the rebellious younger colleague, who tracks down the missing report on his malpractice, into a zombie with a voodoo poison. Mrs. Drusse returns to the hospital as an accident victim and gradually finds out what the Riget ghosts are all about, while Judith spends her time caring for her monstrously growing baby and the nightly bets of the lower batches on the ambulance ghost driver escalate.
