In five lectures, film lecturer Fred van der Kooij explores the fictional elements in documentary film using numerous examples: from the widespread rearrangement of real events and mockumentaries to the staging of historical key moments in docudramas or the mixed forms of feature and documentary film popular on television. The second lecture will focus on the films of Michael Moore and the work of Joris Ivens, in particular his late work "Une histoire du vent".
