Can feminism and religion coexist? Inna Shevchenko from the Ukrainian women’s collective FEMEN is seeking answers to this difficult question through open discussions with priests, imams, rabbis and other activists.

Edith, a journalist, is raising her son Sigurd, who was conceived through artificial insemination, on her own. When she happens to learn the name of the sperm donor, Niels, she arranges a meeting under the pretext of work in order to get to know the successful game developer and father of her son. As she maintains the pretence, she gradually grows closer to her son’s unsuspecting father.

Rome. The 1980s. After the magnum opus The Art of Joy she has been working on for a decade is rejected by the Italian publishing world, writer Goliarda Sapienza commits a desperate theft that costs her her reputation and social position. Incarcerated in Italy’s largest female prison, she finds herself living alongside thieves, junkies, sex workers and revolutionaries. After her release, she continues to meet with these women and over the course of a sweltering summer, a life-changing relationship flowers – a relationship that will reawaken her the desire to live and to write.

An employee of a U.S. intelligence agency wants to release classified documents about contact with extraterrestrials.
