Menschen am Sonntag
Robert Siodmak, Edgar G. Ulmer, Germany, 1930o
Berlin 1930: Four friends escape the hectic of the big city on a Sunday trip to the Wannsee. They splash in the water and ride in a pedal boat, they go for a walk and listen to the gramophone, they tease each other, they love each other and part again. The semi-documentary silent film depicts the life of young people in the metropolis of Berlin and shows the still undestroyed capital in a summer weekend mood.
