Fanny & Alexander

The siblings Fanny and Alexander, part of a fun-loving upper middle-class family clan in Sweden in the early 20th century, are confronted with the sudden death of their beloved father shortly after Christmas. Her mother finds comfort in an arch-conservative bishop, and a new life begins for the children. But the beloved father stands by the young Alexander after his death and encourages him to resist the icy servant of god.
