Michel Le Gorgues (Jacques Villeret), a civil servant in health prevention, has to expel 500 African immigrants from an unsanitary shelter. They take up a collection to bring in a marabout to help them. In the plane to Paris, a young African (Isaac de Bankolé, who won the César award for most promising actor for this role) seizes the opportunity to take the place of the eagerly awaited old marabout.
