What it's about Synopsis

Five young men fritter away and goof off the wintertime in a povinznest on the Adriatic in the early postwar period. They dream of adventure and escape, gamble away the money of their indulgent families in local bars and billiard halls, and never get beyond trivial affairs. In the end, life forces two of them to take responsibility or to set out into the unknown.
