Tunin, a simple farmer, receives a dangerous assignment: he is to carry out an assassination attempt on Mussolini in place of his shot friend in fascist-ruled Italy. Naive, but determined to do anything, he travels to Rome. He ends up in a noble brothel, where he pretends to be the cousin of the prostitute Salome. The latter has intimate relations with a high-ranking fascist - the ideal opportunity to plan the assassination. Tunin falls in love with one of the ladies of the establishment and must now suddenly choose between anarchy and love.
