Ex-boxer Atbai has degenerated into a thug who beats up harmless rivals with his street gang. When the string-pullers behind the Kazakh Boxing Federation organize a tournament to bring their national champion onto the international stage, Atabai sees this as his big comeback chance. He doesn't care that the tournament is faked and that the opponents of the champion should all lose, especially since he also wants to prove something to his lost great love.
Preview release until April 30: film in competition at the Fribourg International Film Festival, which after its cancellation, is redeploying part of its programming online.
