On his weekly trip through Switzerland, a student notices that the train takes an unusually long time to travel through a tunnel. His unease grows with the steady darkness. But his fellow passengers don't seem worried, and the conductor also assures him that everything is fine. Together with the conductor, the student makes his way to the driver's cab of the locomotive - but it is empty.
