Alexia has a car accident as a child and therefore gets a titanium plate implanted in her head. From then on, she is fascinated by cars, but cannot build relationships with people that do not end in violent outbursts. When she goes into hiding because of this, she is taken in by Vincent, who believes he recognizes his missing son in her.
