Hakim alias Joaquim, a clumsy, blundering policeman, must foil the plans of a crooked promoter: the Count of Neuville. With his friends, he infiltrates the Count's Château, but must also prepare his wedding with Julia, to whom he has kept his mission secret. But nothing goes according to plan, and Hakim and his band of out-of-touch nickel-footers go from one disaster to another. He enters a mad race to succeed in his mission and save his marriage.
