Charlotte is 42 and lives with her father in seclusion in Trentino. She suffers from severe anxiety disorders. When her father is hospitalized with a heart attack, Charlotte's younger brother returns to the village after ten years. He asks her to come with him to Switzerland. This marks the beginning of a new chapter in Charlotte's life, as she has never traveled before.
