Ein solch redundantes Prinzip muss schiefgehen, tut es aber nicht. Denn mit dem New Yorker Filmemacher Nicolas Pesce ("The Eyes of My Mother") ist einer der vielversprechendsten jungen Horrorregisseure am Werk, und er macht etwas Unerhörtes. Er nimmt die Prämisse ernst und liest sie als düstere Parabel über Trauerarbeit.
