Filmmaker Adrien Bordone's Spanish friends were born in Switzerland and were forced by their parents to return to Galicia after finishing school. 20 years later, we explore the reasons for this remigration. “Mes amis espagnols” is a reflection on exile and the gap between generations, but also an attempt to heal the wounds of childhood. The film offers a nuanced picture of contemporary masculinity and its fragility.
