Since the age of 15, Matthias has been living with paranoid schizophrenia, which manifests itself in recurrent psychotic episodes. Long-term hospital stays shaped many years of his life. It was in this context that he met Christoph Rahm, then a psychiatric nurse and now a filmmaker. Rahm’s film offers an insight into Matthias Noser’s life: his passion for music and art, his chronic mental illness and the various relationships that have shaped him.
