Bruno Salvati is a director of little success, fresh from the separation from his wife Anna with whom he had two children, the twenty-year-old Adele and the seventeen-year-old Tito. All his family relationships are called into question, including that with his father Umberto, the custodian of a secret that will force Bruno to embark on a journey in search of someone who can help him.

Zilla Leutenegger ist eine der erfolgreichsten und medial vielfältigsten schweizerischen Künstlerinnen. Im Frühsommer 2021 widmete ihr das Bündner Kunstmuseum Chur eine Mid-Career-Retrospektive. Während dreier Jahren begleitete der Filmemacher Iwan Schumacher die Künstlerin mit der Kamera. Der Film fokussiert auf die Entstehung von drei Kunstwerken der Churer Ausstellung. Diese Arbeiten bilden die Ausgangspunkte für Streifzüge durch das Leben und Werk von Zilla Leutenegger.
